Once a king sent a messenger with some instructions to his commander in the battlefield. The messenger was still on his way when he saw one of the nails of the horseshoe missing. As he was in a great hurry, he did not care for it and continued his journey. Soon all of the nails from the shoe of the horse went off and the horse stopped. The messenger was much worried. He beat the horse with a whip and he run faster and faster. The blood began to ooze out of his feet. He fell down and died. The messenger began to run on foot. But when he reached the battlefield, he came to know that his carelessness had made his army lick the dust.

Moral:
