All that Glitters is not Gold [Moral Story] – A Foolish Stag
This story (A Foolish Stag with the moral lesson “All that glitters is not Gold”) is about a stag. He was very vain and foolish. He was very proud of his beautiful horns. His beautiful horns brought about his death.

Once a stag lived in a jungle. He was proud and vain. One day he saw his reflection in a stream. He liked his beautiful and strong horns but he hated his thin and ugly legs. One day, the hounds of the hunter attacked him. His ugly legs helped him in running fast. But unfortunately, his horns got caught in the bushes. He struggled hard to release himself but all in vain. Soon the hounds reach there. They fell upon him and tore him into pieces. His thin and ugly legs tried to save his life but the horns that he was proud of brought about his death.
Moral:
1. All that glitters is not gold.
2. Appearance is always deceptive.
3. Pride hath a fall.

Once, a stag lived there in a woody land. He was beautiful incarnate, having smart beautiful figures and twisted horns. The stage was vain and foolish. One day, he felt awfully thirsty. He went to a nearby brook to quench his thirst. The water of the brook was very cold and clear. He drank water to his fill. While drinking water, the stag saw his reflection in the water. He was very happy to see his beautiful antlers and felt very proud of them. When he saw his lean and thin legs, he felt very sorry. He hated his ugly legs. All of a sudden, he heard the hunter’s horse and the howls of hounds. He saw a pack of hounds coming towards him. The stag was filled with horror. He wanted to save his life at every cost. He ran very fast to the jungle to save his life. His thin and ugly legs were a great help to him. They carried him far away from the hounds. He reached a dense part of the forest. There were thick bushes and trees growing in that part of the forest. Unfortunately, his beautiful antlers were caught up in a long bush. He tried his best to get free but all his efforts ended in smoke. Meanwhile, the hounds reached there. His beautiful antlers, of which he was so proud, brought about his death. The hounds fell upon him and tore him into a number of the bid and small fragments.
Moral:
1. All that glitters is not gold.
2. Appearance is always deceptive.
3. Pride hath a fall.
