12th Class Chemistry Chapter 4 Notes
This chapter “Group VA and Group VIA Elements” is about the structure and compounds of group VA and VIA elements. The elements of group VA of the periodic table comprises nitrogen, phosphorus, arsenic, antimony and bismuth. The group VIA of the periodic table consists of oxygen, Sulphur, selenium, tellurium and polonium. These elements are called chalcogens from the Greek for “copper giver”, because they are often found in copper ores.
